I'm a traveler at heart.

I've explored corners of Japan that most people never see — tiny local markets, hidden tea shops, quiet temples, and festival stalls filled with handmade treasures. And I've traveled abroad too, which made me realize something:

People all over the world love Japan. But real, authentic Japanese culture is hard to find outside of Japan.

That's what inspired me to start Smile From Japan.

More than a shop — a connection

I don't think of this as just an online store.

I think of it as a way to share the Japan I love with people who love it too — whether you've visited before, dream of going someday, or simply find joy in Japanese culture from wherever you are in the world.

Every box I pack, I imagine the person on the other side opening it. Will they love this tea? Will this little charm make them smile? I pick each item the same way I'd pick a gift for a close friend — with care, curiosity, and a little excitement.

I personally select and pack all mystery boxes and jewelry from my home in Osaka, Japan. Some items in the Japanese-Inspired collection are produced through trusted print partners for worldwide delivery.

No warehouses. No middlemen. Just me, surrounded by beautiful Japanese things, packing them up and sending them to you.
